pasta night

Last Thursday we had our lovely friends, Jill and Aaron, over to eat dinner and watch one of our favorite shows. They brought their pasta maker, we kneaded and cranked, and delicately hung our pasta to dry...it was quite an adventure.

We had great fun and a great meal!

the twelve cookies of christmas

Friday night a couple friends and I hosted a holiday cookie party for a group of our gal pals. We hosted it at Les Madeleines Bakery. We had a very nice dinner, gift exchange and everyone left with baked treats. It was so nice to have everyone together.

It was an absolute joy to watch one of my best friends in the whole wide world marry the love of her life last Friday. We (and everyone else who knows them) couldn't be happier for Melissa and Ali.

A lovely evening soiree was the perfect finish to a perfect day.

Last week we hosted a pumpkin carving shindig at 123 house with some of our friends. Everyone got one pumpkin, and many drinks. This may become an annual event.

My pumpkin was inspired by the 'I heart NYC' pumpkin I saw at Rockstar Diaries, although I did add some local flavor.

So, a few months ago we started getting together with some friends to play Bingo. This event has been taking place monthly.

However, the "Deluxe" Bingo set we purchased for this event, is anything but deluxe. In fact some of the balls have the numbers written in ball point pen and some cards have the same number twice. That's right folks, it came from the store like that, seriously lame.

Naturally, I was ecstatic when I saw this on Stephmodo. The deluxe set will soon be retired.
