I was reading an article the other days on Cdn Beavers. Seems they were imported to Finland in the early 1900's to try and get their fur industry restored. Now 100 years later, they have taken the country over and have now moved into Russia. Seems the Cdn beaver weighs about 32 kilos, about twiice the size of russian ones and they are building so many dams (they have sharper teeth and are more energetic) that they are driving the Russians crazy as they are now effecting the country's waet levels and are regularly causing floods in some cities.
