Dear Mrs. Meyers,
I am sorry I judged you so harshly. For years I have seen your fancy pants products on the shelves of small boutique stores and assumed they were simply over priced soap in pretty bottles. Honestly, the only one I hurt was myself. I am the one who missed out while others had lovely smelling, non-toxic cleaning agents in their home.
I recently tried several of your products and I love them. The house smells clean without the chemical smell, the scent lingers for days. I have also discovered that if I purchase your products from larger stores they are actually quite competitive in price. Your products have almost made me want to start cleaning the house myself (just kidding).
Again, my sincere apologies. I am so glad we are finally friends.
Love,
Bree

you must stop
Dear Jonathan Adler,
I am ashamed to admit that I am watching the latest season of your show, Top Design. As an educated designer there is no excuse worthy of my behavior. I want you to know that I am dealing with this tragedy.
What I can not overcome is your new catch phrase, "j'adoreable". Please, please, stop. Help me make my sick addiction bearable.
See ya later decorator!

bye bye badger

Dear Front Teeth,
Years ago you got a reputation, one for being very sharp. My sisters said it hurt when you bit them. We could bite through anything, you and me, even though we weren't supposed to.
We've been together a long time, and you've been so helpful so many times, like the time that I forgot to take a tag off a shirt and you just snipped the plastic tag like it was nothing. People started calling me 'badger' because of you. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you, you couldn't have done it without me.
Anyway, I've decided you need a makeover. Tomorrow we are going to go to the dentist and you are going to have a special procedure. When we leave you will be much duller, but much more beautiful. I just want you to know that I am kind of sad about losing you, I'll probably have to gnaw on things for hours now, all in the name of beauty.
At the root of things, I know you'll still be there, and that makes me happy.
Yours truly,
Bree

dear e'ST'er

{ducati st4}
Dear E'ST'er, (Josh's Ducati ST4)
I don't think I've ever told you how much I like you. You're beautiful, adventurous and fun to hang out with.
Today when I was following you and Josh down to the shop for your check-up, I realized how much I miss you. You've sat patiently in the garage for months now waiting for the warm weather, I hardly even come out to say hi. I'll try to do better.
I hope we can spend some time together soon, maybe we could go for a ride and grab some wings?
Bree
p.s. I think we should keep this between us.

dear canada
Dear Canada,
How are you? I really miss you today and wish we could get together for a while. Life gets busy...you know how that is! Are you cold? I bet you are! It's been pretty cold here too, maybe that's what made me think of you.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. Please take care of all my family and friends who are with you, and tell them I miss them.
Love Always,
Bree
p.s. I made you a photo collage of some of my favorite things that remind me of you...I hope you like it.
1. hudson bay blanket 2. ketchup chips 3. loonie
4. royal canadian mounted police 5. poppy 6. tim hortons

dear martha
Dear Martha (Stewart),
You and I have always had a love/hate relationship, we both know this is mostly because I am jealous of you. When Josh and I started talking about painting 123 house a few months ago, and he professed his undying love and commitment to your line of paint, it added salt to my wounds. However, I am willing to move on...for now.
Thank you for your well edited line of paint available at Lowes. I was not a believer until recently, but I admit, I am impressed. The quality of the paint is outstanding, and the colors are gorgeous.
This week we began painting 123 house, and we love it, we absolutely love it. Martha...we love you!
p.s. Please feel free to stop by anytime.
