the namesake

The Namesake is the second book by Jhumpa Lahiri that I am reading this year. I am enjoying to so much that I can't wait to go to bed and read tonight.

Generally when I read, I take note of the content, the story. I believe this is the first time I have ever been consciously moved by the style of someones writing. It is human, real, beautiful.

I went to one of her readings (at MIT) a few years ago and it was fantastic. She's an amazing author. Keep reading!!

If you are interested in reading another book with a beautiful style, I recommend "Blindness" by Saramago :)

Awww what a fun page! If you like that Apricot Fig body wash by fresh, you might like Mediterranean Fig, a perfume by Pacfica that they sell @ Sephora and Whole Foods, it is a dreamy scent, all natrual, and smells wonderful.
