let it out

The Kleenex campaign, Letting it out in America is not new, but I am moved by it every time. The commercials, the website, the song, it is pure genius.

Kleenex took their blue couch, a good listener and boxes of tissue cross-country to give Americans the inspiration and tools they needed to release emotions and share their stories. Who can resist free therapy?

They found that only 15% of Americans admit to letting their feelings out often, although 80% believe it's healthy to do so. Read more about the findings here.

What makes you laugh, cry, smile, jump for joy, scream or sing? What have you been holding back?

Everyone has a story. Come on, just let it out.

I haven't been watching a lot of T.V. lately, but I love this! That is what it is all about. Such good marketing.

I love the song too!

There are 2 things that make be laugh, cry, jump for joy and wanna sing. It may sound cheesy, but here it goes:

My nephews. I went to visit my sister when my oldest nephew was 9 months old. I got in late and he had already gone to sleep. The next morning when I woke up he was wide awake. When I went into the leaving room, he ran to me and gave me a hug, which thinking about it-still brings me to tears. It was that moment that I decided I must move to SLC. I didn't want to miss the sweet mild-stones in his life. I was lucky enough to be in the delivery room when my second nephew was born. I witnessed a miracle that day. I'm so glad that I was able to be there!

A topic that always brings a tear to my eye is dads. I haven't seen my dad since I was 10 years old so every time there is a story about dads and their daughters I cry. Good thing there is a lot that makes me laugh.
