{canadian chicken balls}
I don't often crave Chinese food, but when I do, I want chicken balls.
Josh: "Chicken what?"
Bree: "You know, chicken balls!"
Josh: "No, I don't know!"
I started to wonder...are delightful spheres of chicken and deep fried batter a Canadian thing? I began to do some research.
Yep, turns out they are. You can read more here.
America, behold the chicken ball.

Mmmm... I love chicken and balls.
tee hee hee.
Actually those look good, c'mon, who doesn't like anything deep fried. :)
mmmm.... i'll take mine with that really yummy red sauce.
wikipedia knows everything....
my goodness!! no CHICKEN BALLS in the US of A?? That's a damn damn shame.
Hmmm....maybe I'll get some for supper tonight! Jealous much? :)
i remember you + danielle discussing things - next trip don't let me forget to search them out :)
I can imagine my husbands reaction if I asked him if he wanted some...it wouldn't be family friendly.
amazing! It's true, I guess though as I haven't seen them in the Chinese restaurants here...

They look almost identical to the sweet & sour chicken I get in my take-out except that ours aren't in ball form, just battered chunks of chicken. I always skip the sauce and douse 'em in soy sauce instead.
Hi Dear
I guess we don't realize all the things that are uniquely Canadian. Typically when asked we say there really is little that is but that is just not so.
Tow additional items are snow machines invented by Bombardier of Quebec and those pesky old polar bears
