'c' is for cookie

A quiet evening at home called for chocolate chip cookies...yum!

I have tried a lot of chocolate chip cookie recipes, I keep coming back to this one, it has the perfect amount of salt.

Chocolate Chip Cookies:
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375.

In large bowl mix butter and sugar. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir dry mixture into sugar mixture. Finally, mix in chocolate chips.

Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes.

Makes 3-4 dozen cookies...more than I should ever have access to.

Let me know what you think.

Thank you for the recipe! My cookies were delicious although certainly not as photogenic as yours. I will have to do extra time on the stepper tonight while waiting for
Jane Austen's "Northanger Abby" to start. "C" is for calorie!
